Ternyata Microsoft Office 2007 tuh bisa diinstalin di Ubuntu. Sebelu menginstall Wine, pastikan anda sudah terkoneksi dengan internet. Untuk menginstall Microsoft Office 2007 di ubuntu diperlukan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut:
1. Pastikan anda menginstall wine terbaru, masuk ke terminal
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wine
2. Klik Start menu, Applications > Wine > Configure Wine, klik “Applications tab” pilih “Windows XP” dibawah “Windows Version” dan klik “Apply”.
3. Sekarang install Microsoft Office 2007, jalankan setup.exe, klik kanan “Properties” dan set “Permissions”, centang “Allow executing file as program”. Sekarang double klik setup.exe, seharusnya langsung kebuka wine, jika tidak klik kanan “Opem with Winde Windows Program Loader”. Sekarang anda dapat dengan mudah menginstall Microsoft Office 2007.
4. Setelah selesai, ternyata setelah dicoba microsoft powerpointnya tidak jalan. Untuk mengatasinya masuk start menu, Application, Wine, Configure wine dan pada Tab “Libraries”, pada “New override for library” ketik: riched20.dll, dan klik Add. Sekarang klik file “riched20“, klik edit dan pilih Native (Windows).
